Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek has been an American actress for over 20 years. She was famous for her role as Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 film White Chicks Danielle Brooks in the USA Network television series Covert Affairs Dr. Amber Volakis on the Fox series House Lura Grant in the HBO show Big Love and Francine Hanson on the AMC series Mad Men. Anne Dudek is an American actress best known for playing Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 comedy movie White Chicks. Also, she is well-known for her television roles as Dr. Amber Volakis in Fox's sitcom House Danielle Brookson in USA Network's drama Covert Affairs and Lura Grant in HBO's drama Big Love. Dudek is an Massachusetts resident who went to Northwestern University. It was where she was able to get her first role as an actor as Lura Grant as Lura Grant, in The Iphigenia Cycle. Dudek was honored with the Joseph E. Caloway Award for her outstanding performance during the New York City production. American Theater Magazine also featured Dudek in their list of 10 actors in the theatre who must be watched. Dudek landed roles in television as well as on the big screen. As a mother of two, behind the screen the talented actress dated Matthew Heller from 2008 to 2016. Dudek was born in Boston Massachusetts on March 22 1975 but was raised in Newton. In her early career, she was a student of Northwestern University. During this time, she participated in numerous theater productions as well as performing on Broadway. The following year, she received an award, the Connecticut Critics Circle Award, for her performance of The Glass Menagerie. The Book Group was the first British drama comedy she was a part of. She's appeared as an actor on wide range of television shows such as Desperate Women How I Met Your Mother, Friends, ER, Charmed Bodies Numb3rs, or Six Feet Under. The actress also played Lucinda Barry in the pilot episode of Psych as well as a teacher who is involved in a sexual affair to one of her pupils in Law & Order Criminal Intent. Dudek had her first appearance on House in the fourth season as Amber Volakis. Amber is one of the Dr. Gregory House's forty candidates for a position as the permanent House team. The character remained on screen throughout the season, however she was killed off in the two-part finale Wilson's Heart and House's Head. Later, she would reappear in the season 5 episode Saviors from Season 5, as the hallucination of House. Dudek continued to appear as House for the remainder in the entire season. Dudek was later seen on Mad Men as next-door neighbor Francine Hanson, and also in Big Love as one of Alby Grant's antagonistic wives, both with frequently appearing role. In the year 2010, Dudek became part of the cast on Covert Affairs portraying Danielle Brooks as the daughter of the central character. She was Tiffany Wilson, the cruise-line proprietor of the cruise line in White Chicks (2004 comedy) and Anthony Hopkins' daughter in The Human Stain.
