Eva Mendes was born in America. She is an American actor, model and a performer. Talent agents recognized her talents and convinced her to make a profession as an actor or model. After many hours of thought and reflection, she decided to drop out of university in order to work in the entertainment industry. She made her debut with the feature film Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror and she was dissatisfied with her performance. She put in a lot of effort to improve her acting abilities and appeared in several low-budget movies in order to prove her skills. Although it was not an easy path to take, the actor's sheer determination and tenacity were well-rewarded. Following her triumph in Training Day, her career as an actor began to take off.
